My creative journey - a work in progress.
I am a Toronto-born and based artist who studied at OCA.
Though I had long dreamed of becoming an artist, it wasn't until later in life that painting became a true focus. Once it did, it came naturally.
Working primarily in acrylic on canvas and board, I create impressionistic and abstract pieces guided by instinct rather than planning. A bold, expressive use of colour is central to my style, and each work unfolds intuitively.
Viewers often notice unintended images within my paintings - forms and figures emerge without deliberate design, adding a layer of mystery and personal interpretation to each piece.
In addition to painting, I also hand-paint glass ornaments, bringing a vibrant colour sense and spontaneity to a different, more playful surface.
My debut as a vendor at the Cabbagetown Festival in ‘24 was a success beyond my wildest dreams.
I was invited to exhibit at Show Gallery.
"EVERYONE’S ACRYLIC” is my first public one man art show.
